Cookies & measurement
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages visited, roughly where visitors come from) and Google Ads conversion measurement to know whether our ads work. If you decline, no analytics or advertising cookies are set — Google receives only anonymous, cookieless signals, and the site works exactly the same.
What we store on your device
Your language choice, your cookie decision, which journal posts you have liked, and your coffee-game high score are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and contain nothing that identifies you.
Journal likes
The heart counts on journal posts are anonymous totals stored in our database. No account, name, or identifier is attached to them.
Loyalty card accounts
If you create a loyalty card (worldswithin.coffee/card), we store your name, your email address, and your stamp counts per drink category — cold brew, filter, espresso bar — with the date each stamp was added and any free drinks redeemed. We never record your individual orders. Our staff can see your name and card when stamping it at the counter. This data exists only to run the buy-10-get-1 programme, is never shared or sold, and lives until you delete it: the "Delete my account" button on your card page erases your account, cards and personal data permanently, on the spot.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. For the loyalty card, deletion is self-service — the button is on your card page. For anything else, or if you prefer we handle it, email us and we will sort it within 30 days.
